Day In ~~ Day Out

Baby, I'm a Star! (I'm sitting on the toilet here ... not *going* though. That'd be *wrong* :D)
I finally got under 216 this morning ~~ not by much by anyone's standards but damn it felt good to see the *5*. Good Grief that took (drama -queen antics inserted here ...) forever!
I'm just 16 lbs away from Onederland ... it's so exciting I could pee my pants. Good thing I'm on the potty (better put the lid up) :D

I just saw the ParticipACTION commercial on TV that our fellow blogger Joania is starring in! I've always admired Joania's dedication to her program ... she's a Superstar! Despite my successful effort at not weighing myself daily or weekly this past summer, I have to admit that I'm a curious cat and love peeking and prefer the daily drama of weighing in. I need to know where I stand so I can make adjustments and do some fine-tuning.


'millin on the Grindstone ~~ 60 min. @ 3.6 mph



1st meal ~~ 1 can tuna + 2 T light olive oil mayo + green onion + celery + olives + fresh lemon juice + dried parsley & dill + black pepper + paprika + romaine (as wrap) + (1/2 cup light ricotta + 1 cup mixed berries ... fruity, creamy goodness)
+ 3/4 cup almond milk + instant espresso (latte)


2nd meal ~~ chicken breast (cooked with TexMex spice) + onion + peppers + salsa + romaine + 1/4 cup 2% plain yogurt ... seriously, so good. I serve the chicken/salsa warm over the cool, crisp lettuce.
3rd meal ~~ steak + cauliflower with 2 T light ricotta + 1 pat butter and pinch nutmeg
4th meal ~~ 1/2 cup light ricotta + 10 ground almonds + cinnamon + almond extract
lots of water with lime & lemon juice & green tea
